Our beautiful bride Rochelle came to us last January in search of the perfect wedding gown for her special day. The gown chosen by this bride to be was La Sposa’s ‘Maya’.
This gorgeous gown featured scalloped lace edging and a beautifully shaped A-line skirt. Rochelle wore the beautiful ‘Mantilla’ veil by Akina Bridal Couture which she claims was her favourite part of her bridal look! Rochelle also chose a delicate Stephanie Browne headpiece from Akina Bridal Couture to be worn after the removal of the veil. This beautiful accessory featured across the back of her hair; styled by friend: Lucy Giacomelli.
Rochelle’s look was beautifully finished by make-up artist Mel from MUDU make-up.

Rochelle and husband Craig had dreamed to be married by a river, so Riverside Oaks Golf Course was the perfect location for this beautiful ceremony. Flowers hung from the trees and flower poles were set up encircled by flower petals. The chairs featured Craig and Rochelle’s photos of their beautiful twelve-year relationship prior to marriage. Rochelle walked down the aisle to Keith Urban’s ‘Making Memories of us’ sung by Taga Paa. With the picturesque river in view, the couple was married by marriage celebrant Paul Grech.
Following the ceremony, pictures were taken in the breathtaking historic ruins and various areas around the golf course. Guests were invited to putt on the green and enjoy drinks accompanied by the musical styling of Taga Paa.
Guests were then invited inside to be seated; finding their tables by reading their names off the Willow Tree. All tables were named after the cities Rochelle and Craig plan to travel to as a married couple in the future. Guests entered through draped doors and placed their fingerprints on the Fingerprint Tree.
Continuing into a room filled with one hundred and fifty Phalaenopsis Orchids, Black Willow and over three hundred candles, guests were asked to take a Polaroid picture to place on the ‘Polaroid Tree’. Our beautiful bride and talented florist did an amazing job on the flower pieces including hanging centrepieces, a huge flower chandelier as well as hanging tea light votives.
Rochelle and Craig’s first dance was accompanied by Roy Orbison’s ‘You Got It’ followed by a dance with the couple’s children to Kyle Andrews’ ‘You Always Make Me Smile’. The beautiful day finished with touching speeches by friends and family and a breathtaking firework display before the couple ended their first night together as a married couple.
